![]() ![]() I have previous versions of X1, X2 & X3 that I am trying to install on another PC to compare but I am having difficulties retrieving serial numbers etc since Cakewalk has moved to the new login model. Shouldn't there be files in there? If so, how do I get them back from the installation files I originally downloaded. I note that the directories under c:\program files(x86)\cakewalk\studio instruments are empty (for example multisamples\bass samples\). I can see the dll file in (for example) the directory c:\program files\cakewalk\vstplugins\SI-Bass Guitar\SI-Bass Guitar.dll and the path c:\program files\cakewalk\vstplugins exists in the preference area. I have tried Preferences -VST Settings- Reset & Rescan to no avail. Still included are the TTS-1 synth and Studio Instruments Suite, TH3 Cakewalk Edition amp sim, the Sonitus effects suite, and the Boost 11 limiter. They also do not appear in the Browser option Insert Synth - VST2 like they used to. Although Cakewalk retains all of Sonar’s functionality, it lacks most of the third-party plug-ins that used to come bundled with Sonar with a few exceptions. The vendor field is = blank and the vst id =0. When I open Cakewalk Plug In Manager the SI instruments are found in the section vst audio effects. I have lost access to the Studio Instruments suite. ![]()
